As I prepare a post about the importance of designating a Michigan health care agent, I ran across a great post by my friend and colleague Jackie Bedard on How to Select Your Health Care Agent – click here to read it.<\/a> There really isn’t too much I can add to the post.\u00a0 It is informative and gives great questions to think about when choosing your Michigan healthcare agent. <\/span><\/p>\n

There is one main difference in Michigan – terminology.\u00a0 Here the document that governs who makes healthcare decision for you if you are unable to participate in those decisions is a Michigan patient advocate designation.\u00a0 The person (or people) you choose to make these decisions is your Michigan patient advocate.<\/span><\/p>\n
